- Spin the combination to the right to your third number.

Student Centers lockers use a secure combination lock. Combinations are accessible upon purchase of a locker on the rental receipt and on LockerGM under ‘My Rentals.’ Student Centers cannot provide combinations over the phone, through email, or to individuals other than the name listed as the rented. The renter must come to the Student Centers office during normal business hours with their Mason ID to retrieve their combination or if they need assistance opening their locker.
- The rental end date is listed on the rental receipt and on LockerGM under ‘My Rentals.’
- Renters who do not renew their locker must empty their locker of all items no later than the listed rental end date. After that date, Student Centers staff check the lockers for damages, collect any items left inside, and change the locker combinations of any lockers that have not been renewed.
- Renters wishing to renew their current locker have 14 days prior to the listed rental end date to do so. Lockers can be renewed through LockerGM by credit card payment, or in person in Johnson Center Room 324 with MasonMoney. Lockers cannot be renewed after the listed rental end date.
- Student Centers will keep items left in expired lockers for 30 days before discarding the items. For health reasons, Student Centers cannot keep any clothing or food items left inside un-renewed lockers and these items will be discarded immediately if found. The person who the locker is registered to will be emailed alerting them to pick up their items. That person must come to the Student Centers office during normal business hours with their Mason ID to retrieve their items within the 30-day holding period. Student Centers cannot take requests to retrieve lost items over the phone or without a Mason ID. After the 30-day holding period, items estimated to be of high value (such as wallets or jewelry) may be delivered to the University Lost and Found. Once an item has been turned over to Lost and Found, the owner should contact them directly at (703) 993-2975 or property@gmu.edu. All other items will be discarded.
- Lockers may be rented by current George Mason University students, faculty, and staff.
- No food or drink of any kind, illegal substances, weapons, or other prohibited, offensive, or dangerous materials are to be placed in locker. Given reasonable cause, Student Centers reserves the right to open and inspect lockers without notice to the renter.
- Any item not secured in a locker will be discarded. This includes items left on top or beside a locker, and/or any item left unsecured in the locker room.
- Students, faculty, and staff may share lockers, but ONLY the person to whom the locker is registered can come to the office and get a copy of their combination, retrieve items left inside the locker, and get other locker assistance. Student Centers recommends that to best ensure the security of your locker and locker contents, you only use the locker for yourself and do not share the combination with anyone.
- No refunds can be given for locker purchases, even if an individual leaves Mason before the end of their rental period.
- Once a locker is purchased, it cannot be exchanged for another unless the purchased locker is malfunctioning. If you find that the locker you purchased is malfunctioning, contact Student Centers as soon as possible so that we may get this issue resolved quickly.
- Lockers rented throughout the semester will be charged at regular semester fees.
- Students, faculty, and staff may purchase more than one locker per semester, but each locker will cost the respective fee listed above.
- Student Centers will not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of locker contents while inside of a reserved locker. This includes items damaged or lost due to break-ins or theft. Valuables left in your locker are left at your own risk. To better ensure the security of your items, do not share your combination with anyone.
- Damage to the lock or locker during the rental period will result in the loss of future locker privileges.
- Alert Student Centers of any locker problems immediately.
- Failure to abide by these conditions will result in the loss of locker privileges without refund of fees.
