Tree Cutting Around Robinson Hall Begins Today

July 18 — Fencing has gone up around the construction areas associated with the Robinson Building Replacement. This includes both chain link fence and barrier tape. Your normal walking route between certain buildings may be interrupted for the time being. Please do not cross barrier tape. Find an alternative route.

The Core Campus Project includes the replacement of Robinson Hall and Utility Infrastructure Improvements. The demolition of Robinson A will begin in fall 2018. For more information, visit robinson.gmu.edu.

Construction associated with campus Utility Infrastructure Improvements begins in August. Demolition of Robinson A is scheduled to begin in fall 2018.

The Student Apartments, across from SUB I, are being razed. This area has been declared a flood plain so it will revert back to a natural water course and habitat. In the meantime, the area will be used as a staging area for the Robinson Building construction.
