Requesting Additional Equipment and/or Furniture
Certain event spaces already provide basic equipment such as a projector and a screen, but if you have reserved a space that does not provide these, or you need any additional audio/visual equipment or furniture (tables, chairs, etc), click here to view what equipment is available, or fill out the booking form.
Assistance Needed During Your Event
Fairfax Campus Event Support
If you need any assistance during your event time (additional furniture, equipment support, other changes to your event, etc.), Events Services always has staff on hand to assist you! For any day-of needs and assistance, please call (703) 993-8919.
The Services Concierge are friendly student workers who are dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly during your event. They assist you with everything from unlocking your event space to ensuring your room is set up properly or whatever else you might need during your event. Look out for the smiling students in the gray polos!
The Event Technicians ensure that all audiovisual technology is operating properly during an event. If you have audiovisual technology at your event, Event Technicians will be on staff during your event to operate light and sound equipment.
The Operations Assistant staff is comprised of both full-time professional and student staff, and help to ensure that all non-technical equipment (tables, chairs, staging, etc.) is setup properly for each event.
Regional Event Support
The Regional Event Support team maintains a presence at each of George Mason University’s regional campuses. They can assist with venue setups, in-house and portable technology, and transportation of event equipment between each campus. If problems arise during your event, call (703) 993-7014.
