Event Support

Event Support Assistants help meeting planners have successful meetings and events with “day of” on-site support.
- Monitoring Student Centers building operations
- Setting up and breaking down event spaces
- Troubleshooting technology issues
- Provide “day of” support for events taking place in Student Centers-supported buildings
- Working well in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibiting the can-do attitude required for customer-oriented events management.
Event Rentals

- Supports transport, set-up, and break down of event furnishings
- Prepare venue for events
- Provides basic training to clients regarding presentation equipment (i.e., in-room projector operation for Powerpoint presentations)
- Acts as liaison between groups and university-supported services
Event Technicians

Event Technicians help with sound reinforcement, video, and technology issues, plus preparation, setup and wrap of events and meetings.
- Deliver and set up all sound and lighting equipment prior to the event
- Operate and troubleshoot technical equipment during the event
- Take down all equipment after event completion and return to proper storage areas
