GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SPACE USE
Please click here to download information regarding reserving meeting space in the Johnson Center, Student Union I and Student Union II. Reading this document will help you in requesting, confirming, and using space in the facilities. For more specific guidelines for scheduling and using the JC Bistro click here.
 
RESERVING THE CHOSEN LOCATION 
The Events Management Office located in Student Union II reserves the space for all three facilities. Complete a Use of University Property form and mail to MSN 3G3 or fax to 993-2112.
 
SUPPORT SERVICES AVAILABLE IN ROOMS
All facilities have easels, television/VCR/DVD setups, overhead projectors, and LCD projectors. Clients must provide their own laptops. Please contact Events Production at 993-3773 for more complicated sound and audiovisual needs or visit their website by clicking here.
 
ASSISTANCE DURING YOUR PROGRAM 
If further assistance is needed on the day of your event or during your program, contact the information desk in the facility. The information desk staff will contact the Student Centers Staff for you.
 
INFORMATION KIOSKS &TABLES/ BANNER RESERVATIONS
Contact the Student Centers to obtain reservation information kiosks, tables, plasma screen ads, table tents, easels and banners.
 
BUILDING LAYOUT
To assist your event attendees with navigating the Johnson Center, please download the necessary building layouts.
 
EARLY OPENING & LATE CLOSING FEES
All early openings and late closings require special approval. There are no early opening and late closing fees for Mason organizations. There are special fees for opening and closing the facilities beyond regular hours of operation for Non-Mason organizations. These Non-Mason organizations will be charged $150 for the 1st hour and $30 for each additional half hour or increment thereof for any scheduled early opening and late closing.
 
CANCELLATION, NO SHOW, SETUP CHANGE & DAMAGE FEES

Events not cancelled within 3 days of the event will incur a late cancellation fee of $75 for each large meeting space and $25 for each small meeting space.

If the group is a "no show" a fee of $100 for each large meeting space and $50 for each small meeting space will be incurred.

If the group request a major setup change (from what was originally requested) after the room is setup, it will incur a setup change fee of $100 for each large meeting space and $50 for each small meeting space.

Any damages to the space or excessive cleaning required will incur to the group a damage and/or cleanup fee. Groups should be reminded to leave the space as they found it.



* Room rental prices are not appplicable to Mason organizations.

Equipment Rentals for Non-SC Events:

General Rule of Thumb – Events scheduled outside of the Student Centers needing event support equipment (items in the list above), may complete the equipment rental form. Additionally, if you are planning an event in the JC Plazas or SUB I Quad that requires more than five tables and/or ten chairs, you may use the Equipment Rental Form.
