Table Tents  

Space Reservations
Mason organizations may reserve space for Table Tents, see Student Centers located in the Johnson Center, Room 324.

Dimensions
Table tents may not exceed a surface area of 8.5 x 11 inches.
Reservation Period
The reservation may be made for the maximum of 14 days or 70 days per semester. Table tents will be removed every Sunday between 5pm and 6pm. You may replenish the supply during the week or after 6pm on Sundays.
Displaying
Mason organizations are responsible for placing their table tents on the tables.  Each table tent must be stamped "Approved" by the Student Centers. Mason organizations that post in areas that are not approved such as entry door windows, painted walls, stair railes, floors, etc. will be assessed a removal fee of $10 per posting.

Banners

Space Reservations
Mason organizations may reserve space for Banners in the Johnson Center and Student Unions. See Student Centers in the Johnson Center, Room 324.
Locations
Banners can be posted on the interior of the Johnson Center and Student Union II as well as on the exterior of SUB I and SUB II in designated spaces. Student Centers has a diagram of all locations.
Quantity Stipulation
Banner space may be reserved in each facility for each specific event.

(2) Student Union I Exterior Broadside Rail, Student Union I Exterior Rail Spaces outside of Room 211, Student Union II Front Outside Space and Student Union II Interior Rail.

2nd floor outside Ciao Hall.

Dimensions
(1) Vertical Orientation measures 60 inches tall by 30 inches wide; inclusive of a 2.5 inch open seam at top and bottom.  Must have "wind hole" cuts and grommets if for outside.   Material must be vinyl.

(2) Horizontal Orientation measures 12 feet wide by 4 feet.  Material must be vinyl.

(3) Horizontal Orientation measures 5 1/2 feet wide by 3 feet.  Material should be vinyl.

Reservation Period
A maximum of 5 fourteen-day reservations or 70 days per semester may be requested by Mason organizations. All banners must be made of vinyl.
 

Special Note:

To program banners to be posted on the Johnson Center Plazas, contact Physical Plant at (703)993-2525. The dimensions on the Plaza banners must be exactly 98 inches tall by 30 inches wide; dimensions include a 4.75 inch open seam at top and bottom.

Flyers and Posters

Approval Stamp
Mason organizations, individual faculty, staff and students, companies, recruiters, groups, churches and all other individuals may post in the Johnson Center, Student Union I and II. Report to Johnson Center Information Desk for posting stamp.
Locations
Flyers/posters may be posted on strips located in the stairwells of Student Union I, on bulletin boards in Student Union II, and on walls directly facing each elevator on floors 1- 3 in the Johnson Center.

No poster should exceed 11 x 17 inches and no flyer should exceed 1/2 X 11 inches.
Display Period

Mason organizations, individual faculty, staff and students, companies, recruiters, groups, churches, and other individuals may reserve tables/kiosks located in and around Johnson Center, Student Union I or II. Tables/Kiosks may be reserved at Student Centers located in Johnson Center, Room 324.
On Reservation Day

On the day of the reservation please go to your assigned table or kiosk. All materials must be displayed on the designated table or kiosk.

Special Guidelines
Companies, groups, recruiters, churches and all other individuals may reserve table/kiosk space in the Johnson Center, Student Union I or II, and Student Union I Quad at the appropriate rate per day. This rate and rate structure are subject to change without notice.

Electronic Sign Board

Space Reservations
To reserve space for Messages in the Johnson Center, see the Johnson Center Information Desk located on the first floor Atrium of the Johnson Center. To reserve space for messages in SUB II Ciao Hall, see Information Services located on the second floor of SUB I, Room 208.
Reservation Period
Messages may be posted for the maximum of two weeks.
Quantity Stipulation
The maximum of two messages per week may be posted.
Dimensions
Messages in the Johnson Center must be 68 characters or less, including spaces.  Messages in other areas must be 8 lines of 18 characters each or less, including spaces.

Leafleting

Mason organizations, individual faculty, staff and students are permitted to leaflet commercial and non-commercial materials. Companies, recruiters, groups, churches and all other individuals are permitted to leaflet non-commercial materials.
Submitting Requests
A copy of the material to be hand distributed must be tendered to Student Centers, Room 324 Johnson Center, to obtain a leafleting permit, at least 24 hours prior to the activity and must bear the name of the sponsoring organization or individuals.
Locations
Leafleting is permitted in sidewalk areas immediately in front of the Johnson Center, Student Union I and II and requires a leafleting permit. Additionally leafleting activity can occur at reserved tables and kiosks in and around the Johnson Center, Student Union I and II and designated locations in accordance with procedures related to University Policy 1110.

Easel Reservations

Easel reservation requests may be completed in Johnson Center, Room 324 for space in the Johnson Center (Ground Floor, First Floor) and Student Union I (Ground Floor, Second Floor) or II (Ciao Hall Entrance, Third Floor). Easels for use in meeting rooms or for events, must be reserved through Events Management when reserving event space.

Plasma Advertising Screen

Mason organizations may reserve "sight, sound and motion" advertising space on the plasma advertising screen on the atrium level of the Johnson Center, please complete the plasma reservation form and then contact the Student Centers in the Johnson Center, Room 324.
